No. 29
Sangananada Mawatha, Werawatta, Panadura, Sri Lanka

To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you for contacting Mr. A.G Lafley with your request for support of the Steve Waugh Poor children’s Foundation. We appreciate that you thought of Mr. Lafley and Procter & Gamble. We are Pleased to Procter & Gamble.

All great and other funding requests must be made using our new online grant system – accessible
from www.pg.com. Telephone, paper and e-mail  requests will no longer be accepted.

Additionally, we would like to share information with you about our new corporate focus for giving. P&G has recently introduced a new global corporate program we call Live, lean & thrive (LLT) which focuses on the development of children in need ages 0-13. We will focus P&G philanthropy, expertise and technologies on the this critical cause. You can learn more about LLT by visiting our website.

As a general rule/ we do not support sponsorship requests for conferences, events or fundraisers (be they meetings, galas, benefits, summits, walk-a –thons or even golf outings). While these events are important to the organizations hosting them, We prefer to provide direct support to programs and services that directly impact children in need ages 0-13.

We very much appreciate your interest and wish you success with your event.

Sincerely,

Gayle R.Nesselhuf
Vice President, The P&G Fund
